Charged after cancelling Showmax


You might continue to be charged even after cancelling your Showmax subscription for various reasons.

 
You cancelled the account, not the direct debit

If you cancelled your Showmax subscription but you’re still being charged, you may not have fully completed the cancellation journey. We suggest retrying your cancellation and making sure you receive an email confirmation once you're done. You can also cancel your direct debit directly with your bank.

 
You have more than one Showmax account

You may have other active Showmax accounts. For example, you may have signed up for our service through the Showmax app but also created an account using another email address online. We suggest checking any other email addresses and making sure you have cancelled all subscriptions.

 
Someone else restarted your subscription

It's possible that someone may have accidentally restarted your Showmax subscription. We suggest you sign out from all your devices and reset your password to ensure no one else can start using your Showmax account, before retrying the cancellation.
